This cupcake tower was ordered for a little girl's 1st birthday: choc-vanilla mini cupcakes decorated with hearts, butterflies and flowers, and a vanilla ripple-iced cutting cake with hand-piped "Chelsea" across the front and wired butterflies extending from the top.

Birthday Present Cupcakes - Yellow, Blue & Purple

Cupcake tower ordered for an 18th birthday party: our ever-popular presents design this time in a blue, purple and yellow colour scheme coupled with handpiped 18s. The mini cupcakes were vanilla and chocolate, and the ripple-iced cutting cake was vanilla.

Hearts & Embossing Wedding Cupcakes

This cupcake tower was created for a purple themed wedding - cookies & cream cupcakes (with upright hearts stamped with the couple's initials), raspberry & white chocolate cupcakes (with royal purple embossed fondant and silver & ivory hearts) and musk cupcakes (with frilly frosting and embossed hearts). The cutting cake was a fondant covered strawberry cake which was topped with fresh flowers.

Tones of Purple Wedding Cupcakes

Wedding cupcakes made to suit the couple's design brief to use lots of varying shades of purple with a scattering of red as an accent. The flavours included mocha (purple embossed fondant and red blossoms), rum & raisin (piped purple frosting with single blossom), blueberry lemon (white frilly piped frosting with blossom arrangement in varying purple shades), banana (lilac piped frosting with 3 white blossoms), sticky date (eggplant purple embossed fondant and rosebuds) and raspberry & white chocolate (dark purple stripes and lilac hand-piped rose).

Pretty Pastel Flower Cupcakes - Stitcher's Dream Day Out

These large cupcakes were commissioned by the lovely Marion from The Quilter's Angel for the annual 'Stitcher's Dream Day Out' held at the Chocolate Cottage Village Green at Highfields. The cupcakes were to provide morning tea for the 300+ women who attended over the 2 days.

So 13 kilos of sugar, almost 3 kilos of white chocolate, 4 dozen eggs and minimal hours of sleep later, the sticky date, chocolate, and raspberry & white chocolate cupcakes were ready to be admired and devoured by hundreds of keen stitchers.

The chocolate cupcakes featured frilly piped frosting and hand-cut flowers, the sticky dates were decorated with embossed fondant over caramel icing, and the raspberry & white chocolate cupcakes featured pastel hand-piped roses.

Note to self: never again attempt 27 dozen cupcakes solo - call for baking and frosting backup!

Shabby Chic Style 50th Birthday Cupcakes

These large-size cupcakes were ordered for a 50th birthday celebration for a lady who loves purple and soft green. The flavours included raspberry & white chocolate (green with purple rose), sticky date (purple with 2 rosebuds), lemon meringue, and choc-hazelnut (with purple daisy). The shabby chic style decorations included hand-piped roses* and rosebuds, lilac sugarpaste daisies, and gold lustre to add some sparkle and shine.

Gold Key Bright 21st Cupcakes

Some bold coloured cupcakes were created for a 21st birthday. The large black forest cupcakes were adorned with stripes and polka dots, and were personalised with the birthday girl's name, and the message '21 hugs for Mia'. Gold keys and 21s were added to fit in with the occasion.

30th Birthday Present Cupcakes
