Cupcake tower ordered for an 18th birthday party: our ever-popular presents design this time in a blue, purple and yellow colour scheme coupled with handpiped 18s. The mini cupcakes were vanilla and chocolate, and the ripple-iced cutting cake was vanilla.

Flowery Frilly Blossoms 16th Birthday Cupcakes

A combination of mini and regular-sized cupcakes were ordered for a 16th birthday celebration. Our popular 'Flowery Frilly' design was chosen for the regular size chocolate cupcakes, and Number Blossoms for the vanilla mini cupcakes; all in a pink, purple and yellow colour scheme.

Ladies' Day Fundraiser Cupcakes

A variety of large cupcakes were made for the Toowoomba Bears Ladies' Day Fundraiser to be sold to raise money for both the rugby club and the Toowoomba Breast Screening Clinic. The flavours included vanilla (yellow), chocolate (pink) and caramel mud (blue), all with embossed fondant over buttercream.

Critter Birthday Cakes

A mixture of large-size choc-vanilla critter cakes for a 3rd birthday celebration. The animals included frogs, lions, elephants, dogs and pigs.

Yellow & White Dessert Buffet Table

For something a little different to my usual orders, a dessert table was created for a 21st birthday with an all-white theme. The yellow accents were added to the various sweets to match the birthday girl's cocktail dress for the occasion. The buffet included a raspberry & white chocolate cutting cake (covered in white fondant over ganache), vanilla mini cupcakes (with yellow frilly frosting and fondant blossoms), meringues, caramel truffles, passionfruit lamingtons, choc-vanilla mini cupcakes (with yellow striped disc decoration) and vanilla bean sugar cookies (piped with royal icing accents). The backdrop to the display was an assortment of yellow & white lolly jars including banana lollies, jelly beans & chocolate baubles, marshmallows, sherbet lemons and milk bottles. From all reports the dessert display provided an impressive showstopper centrepiece for the party!

Contemporary Dots Cupcakes

Cupcakes decorated in a contemporary style incorporating bold colours and polka dots - flavours included: vanilla (yellow frosting with blue embossed disc), chocolate (polka dots), raspberry & white chocolate (yellow stripes and polka dot) and sticky date (blue embossed fondant over caramel icing with double polka dot).

Pretty Pastel Flower Cupcakes - Stitcher's Dream Day Out

These large cupcakes were commissioned by the lovely Marion from The Quilter's Angel for the annual 'Stitcher's Dream Day Out' held at the Chocolate Cottage Village Green at Highfields. The cupcakes were to provide morning tea for the 300+ women who attended over the 2 days.

So 13 kilos of sugar, almost 3 kilos of white chocolate, 4 dozen eggs and minimal hours of sleep later, the sticky date, chocolate, and raspberry & white chocolate cupcakes were ready to be admired and devoured by hundreds of keen stitchers.

The chocolate cupcakes featured frilly piped frosting and hand-cut flowers, the sticky dates were decorated with embossed fondant over caramel icing, and the raspberry & white chocolate cupcakes featured pastel hand-piped roses.

Note to self: never again attempt 27 dozen cupcakes solo - call for baking and frosting backup!

These cupcakes were large white chocolate cupcakes with white chocolate buttercream and colour-coordinated lolly toppings for a sweet tooth's birthday.

Swirl Birthday Cake

This swirly cutting cake was apple cinnamon cake covered in cinnamon buttercream decorated in yellow, blue, green and orange buttercream and white chocolate trimmings.

Large raspberry and white chocolate cupcakes with white chocolate ganache covered in fondant, overpiped with white chocolate lattice and topped with a fondant flower.

Sunflower 21st Birthday Cupcakes

These mini cupcakes and cutting cake were for a 21st celebration. The blue and sunflower themed setup incorporated 125 minis (vanilla with blue frosting and yellow frosting, and chocolate with 21s and yellow stripes) and a choc-vanilla cutting cake with fondant sunflowers.

Yellow Flower Baby Shower Cupcakes

These white chocolate mini cupcakes were ordered for a baby shower. As the sex of the baby is unknown, alternating yellow and white frosting and yellow flowers were chosen as decoration.

Pastel Swirl Mini Cupcakes

These rainbow pastel mini cupcakes were also ordered for an engagement party as part of a dessert buffet. The flavours - all with a chocolate theme - from left were: cookies & cream, choc-caramel, choc-mint, white chocolate and mocha.

These cookies & cream mini cupcakes and raspberry & white chocolate cutting cake were ordered for a little girl's 4th birthday. The fairy wands and princess tiaras were made especially for the birthday girl who is crazy about fairies and princesses... and pink!

Pastel Fairy Cakes

Simple old-fashioned fairy (or butterfly) cakes made out of mini chocolate cupcakes with pastel vanilla buttercream were made for a baby shower.

Some dainty raspberry & white chocolate minis in pastel pink, blue and yellow with rosebuds were ordered for a baby shower. The colour scheme of these cupcakes is a classic one for when the sex of the baby is unknown.
