Our ever-popular birthday presents cupcake design in a colour scheme of white, black & red for an 18th birthday - choc-vanilla mini cupcakes with a choc-vanilla ripple-iced cutting cake.

Spots, Blossoms & Bows Cupcakes

A selection of 30 regular-sized cupcakes ordered for a black & white themed 21st. The decorations are a variation on an earlier design for a black & white wedding.

The cupcakes were all vanilla flavoured, and were decorated with either ivory embossed fondant* and a blossom, ivory smooth fondant* with a polka dot border, or a buttercream swirl with handmade bows* (which varied slightly from the original wedding design which utilised flat fondant).

The order also included mini-size chocolate cupcakes with white handpiped 21s (not pictured).

*each of the following design aspects incur an additional $0.50 per aspect per cupcake: embossed fondant covering, smooth fondant covering, handmade bows.

Polka Dot Birthday Cupcake Tower - Black & White 21st

This cupcake tower was ordered for a black & white themed 21st birthday celebration. The cupcakes were choc-vanilla (chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream icing), baked in polka dot patty pans as a special request and decorated with hand-piped 21s. The fondant-covered cutting cake was chocolate cake, filled and coated with chocolate icing, covered in a thin layer of ivory fondant, and decorated with black polka dots and wired hearts.

Polka Dot Number Cupcakes - Pink/Black/White 30th

Vanilla regular-size cupcakes ordered for a pink, black & white themed 30th birthday celebration featuring pink/black handpiped numerals with matching polka dots.

Black, Silver & White 21st Birthday Cupcakes

Cutting cake and regular-sized cupcakes ordered for a 21st birthday: choc-hazelnut (with black blossom and silver tendrils), cookies & cream (with ivory buttercream and chocolate 21 diamond), and raspberry & white chocolate (covered in black fondant and handpiped lattice) cupcakes and a cookies & cream ripple-iced cutting cake.

Blossoms & Embossing Wedding Cupcakes

A selection of the cupcake tower created for a black & white themed wedding. The flavours included vanilla and chocolate cupcakes baked in black cupcake wrappers topped with embossed white fondant and topped with a black blossom, and a chocolate cutting cake covered in fondant.

Blossoms, Dots & Bows Wedding Cupcakes

These cupcakes were ordered for a wedding in a black & white theme. The cupcake flavours included chocolate and white chocolate, which were iced with either pure white vanilla glaze or embossed fondant over chocolate/white chocolate ganache.

The cutting cake was covered in fondant - this was the first time it had been requested that a homemade cake be decorated (a large rich fruit cake made by the groom's mother) to match the cupcakes. The cake was decorated with fresh flowers for the reception.

Gold, Silver, Black & White Engagement Cupcakes

This cupcake tower was ordered for an engagement party with a gold, silver, black and white theme. The large cupcakes were cookies & cream (white buttercream with gold and silver hearts embossed with the couples' initials) and raspberry & white chocolate (covered in black fondant with a gold and silver heart), and the cutting cake was a ripple-iced white chocolate cake decorated with the couples' names.

Black & White (Red Hearts) Wedding Cupcakes

Large choc-caramel mud cupcakes (covered in embossed fondant with 2 red hearts), raspberry & white chocolate cupcakes (with scroll border and heart with couple's initials) and a chocolate cutting cake filled and iced with chocolate buttercream and covered in fondant for a wedding with a black & white theme featuring a red heart motif.

Black & White Engagement Party Mini Cupcakes

 Mini cupcakes for an engagement party with a black and white theme. The flavours included passionfruit (black disc with initials), caramel mud (covered in black fondant and drizzled with white chocolate) and vanilla (black fondant initial).

Four flavours of large cupcake were ordered for an elegant black, white and silver themed 21st birthday party. From left to right: choc-mint, cookies & cream, raspberry & white chocolate and lemon meringue all decorated to fit in with the party colour scheme. A choc-mint cutting cake was also decorated to match.
