Thanks and Farewell!

Thank you to all our fabulous customers for all your support and patronage over the last 5 1/2 years - since I first sold my cupcakes (as a bright-eyed 18 year-old!) at our beginning market stall in March 2007, through the start of our shopfront in May 2010, and right up until our final day on 10 November 2012.  We have thoroughly enjoyed bringing the best quality and most unique cupcakes and macarons to Toowoomba and Queensland for special events and to satisfy your sugar cravings!

A big thankyou to everyone who helped me out at the store during the days that I was overrun with cupcake demand and who supported me by buying a lifetime's supply of cake in the last 5 years!  Alyce, Courtney, Emma, Naomi, Teresa, Sheree, Nick, Jenni-Lee, Dave, Mum & Dad - you are the best box-folderers, customer servers and cupcake addicts I could've hoped for, and I couldn't have made it through this journey without your love and support!  Thanks too, to our fabulous regular weekly customers who we will miss as much as we will miss baking.

We hope you have enjoyed eating our cupcakes and french macarons as much as we have enjoyed making them for you over the last 5 years.  Now to hang up the piping bags and aprons, and launch ourselves into our next life journey!

FINAL DAY!

Today is our final day ever before we hang up our spatulas and aprons, close up shop and head off on a new journey!

We are open one last day Saturday 10th November 2012 (from 9am until sold out) for your final sugar fix and stock up of our delectable cupcakes and french macarons.  We will have 15 flavours of cupcake and 7 flavours of macarons, available on a first-come first-served basis!

News for Our Customers

We wish to inform our customers that we have made the decision to close up shop in a couple of weeks and take a different direction in our careers after more than 5 years running our cupcake business.

Our last day will be Saturday 10th November 2012, and we will be open extra days to normal in our last week (see below).

Stripes & Blossoms Cake

This was a very special request, as ordinarily we don't make tiered or large cakes (we stick with cupcakes and what we do best!), but this mini 2-tiered cake was for a very special nanna's 90th birthday.  6" mocha cake (with coffee ganache under fondant) and a 4" banana cake (with maple ganache under fondant), decorated to match in with a special high tea birthday celebration.

Our macarons have become very popular lately with plenty of wedding macarons, 21st birthday macarons, 1st birthday macarons, and high tea macarons going out our doors!

We are now fully booked for custom orders for the remainder of our 2012 dates.  Stay tuned to this page for when our 2013 bookings will open!

If you want cupcakes for this year though, please remember that we have a random selection of regular-size cupcakes (7-12 different flavours) and a random selection of french macarons (4-6 different flavours) available in-store for over-the-counter purchases in whatever quantities you like each day we're open.  You are welcome to come in-store and purchase a selection from what is available.

Please note though that we stock the cabinet in the morning with the aim to sell out by closing time, so the time of day will be indicative of the variety and numbers still available!

Macaron Day!

To celebrate the popularity of our macarons since introducing our range last December (and inspired by the gorgeous and creative pastry chef Adriano Zumbo!), we are dedicating an entire day to french MACARONS!

Macaron Day!
Saturday 6th October 2012
9am until sold out

Over 40 different flavours will be available in-store, from our regular over-the-counter menu, as well as some new fabulous flavours!  Pre-order ahead of time for discounted prices and to be assured you won't miss out on your favourite flavour selections.  Pre-orders close 29th September.

Mixed box of 24: $50.00   (save $6.00)
Mixed box of 40: $80.00   (save $10.00)
