Snowflake Christmas Cupcakes

The last of the Christmas cupcakes were 3 giftboxes of cupcakes with glittery handpiped snowflake decorations. The flavours were raspberry & white chocolate (purple), cookies & cream (blue) and choc-mint (green).

Christmas Wreath Cupcakes

These large caramel mud festive cupcakes were ordered for a Christmas celebration. The wreath and bow decorations were vanilla buttercream, on top of the regular caramel icing.

Christmas Gift Boxed Cupcakes

Some Christmas gift-boxed 6 packs of cupcakes were ordered for Christmas. These were (from top): white rocky road, sticky date pudding, caramel mud and raspberry & white chocolate cupcakes that were decorated with either Christmas themed shapes or decorations suited to the recipient's interests.

Pink, Purple, Silver & Gold Christmas Cupcakes

These mini cupcakes were hummingbird cakes with vanilla cream cheese frosting, decorated with silver & gold shimmery Christmas shapes.

Market Stall Update!

It is with regret that I announce that The Cupcake Girl stall will not be at The Cabarlah Markets this Sunday the 14th December. However, we will be back at the next Cabarlah Markets on January 25th to satisfy all your cupcake cravings!

The stall will also be at Queen's Park Craft Markets just before Christmas on the 21st December as per usual.

We are still taking orders for Christmas cupcakes (including gift-boxed 6 packs) which are available up until 23rd December. Please note that orders should be placed at least one week in advance to ensure your cupcakes are able to be catered for.

Gingerbread Men & Holly Cupcakes

The first Christmas order of the season was for caramel mud mini cupcakes with gingerbread men and holly decorations. These were ordered by a teacher as end-of-year gifts for a primary school class.

Fairies & Princesses Cupcakes

These cookies & cream mini cupcakes and raspberry & white chocolate cutting cake were ordered for a little girl's 4th birthday. The fairy wands and princess tiaras were made especially for the birthday girl who is crazy about fairies and princesses... and pink!

Pink Bows & Polka Dot Cupcakes

A mixture of large and mini cupcakes in a matching pink bow and polka dot design were made for a birthday. The large cupcakes were rum & raisin, and the minis were raspberry and white chocolate cupcakes.

Pastel 21st Cupcakes

These were choc-vanilla pastel mini cupcakes with flowers and colour co-ordinated 21s for a birthday celebration.

Birthday Present Cupcakes

These pale-green frosted large size cupcakes were ordered for a birthday celebration. The white chocolate mudcake base was frosted with white chocolate buttercream and topped with pink, purple and orange presents and polka dots.

Vintage-Inspired Flower Cupcakes

These vintage-style inspired cupcakes were ordered for a birthday. The flavour was cookies & cream with buttercream and fondant decorations.

Queen's Park Market Stall this Sunday!

The Cupcake Girl stall will be back at the Queen's Park Craft Markets this Sunday (the 16th) from 8am - 2pm, so if your sweet tooth needs satisfying, you know where to visit...

Strawberry-Themed Baby Shower Cupcakes

Some more mini cupcakes for a baby shower, this time for a girl bub. The customer requested vanilla cupcakes with strawberry decorations to fit in with the shower's strawberry theme (what a cute party theme!) and pink frosting. Mini cupcakes and their 'cuteness' factor seem to be proving quite popular for baby showers.

Pastel Fairy Cakes

Simple old-fashioned fairy (or butterfly) cakes made out of mini chocolate cupcakes with pastel vanilla buttercream were made for a baby shower.

A new flavour on the menu

Introducing the newest flavour on our menu:

Chai & Honey:

Inspired by chai latte traditionally served sweetened by honey, this cupcake features a chai spiced (cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cardamom) buttercake base with honey buttercream frosting.

Purple Flower Cupcakes

These pretty pink vanilla cupcakes were ordered for a lady's birthday. The request was for the cupcakes to be girly - purple and white fondant flowers atop pink frosting fit the bill perfectly!

No Market Stall Tomorrow (19th October)

Just a note to let customers know that The Cupcake Girl will not have a stall at the Queen's Park Craft Market tomorrow (Sunday 19th October). For those of you who need your cupcake fix, I will be at the Cabarlah Markets next weekend (Sunday 26th) as per usual, so I look forward to seeing you there! My apologies for the inconvenience.

These cupcakes were mini caramel mud birthday cupcakes with chocolate-coated caramel decorations.

Breast Cancer Fundraiser Cupcakes

In conjuction with October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, these pink themed mini cupcakes were created for a couple of Girl's Nights In with the hope of raising funds for the Cancer Council's breast cancer projects.

The cupcakes were vanilla with pink flowers, chocolate with pink chocolate shavings, caramel mud with pink ribbons and raspberry and white chocolate with pink rosebuds.

Thanks to all the ladies who supported the fundraiser and helped The Cupcake Girl collect over $300 for this worthy cause.

Purple Diamond Cupcakes

These cupcakes were for a gift for a lady who loves everything purple. They are chocolate buttercake with chocolate buttercream frosting, half are covered with rolled fondant and all are decorated with fondant diamond decorations.

Pastel Rosebud Baby Shower Cupcakes

Some dainty raspberry & white chocolate minis in pastel pink, blue and yellow with rosebuds were ordered for a baby shower. The colour scheme of these cupcakes is a classic one for when the sex of the baby is unknown.

Couple's Wedding Symbol Cupcakes

Caramel mud cupcakes for a wedding with a cream, brown and dusty green colour scheme, with the disc on top of the cupcakes incorporating the couple's wedding symbol made up of the bride and groom's initials. Half of the cupcakes had milk chocolate ganache and vanilla buttercream, the other half white chocolate ganache and chocolate buttercream. The cutting cake was a vanilla buttercake with vanilla buttercream.

Rose Wedding Cupcakes

60 large cupcakes with pale pink hand-piped roses and a cutting cake were ordered for a wedding. The cupcakes and large cake were all raspberry & white chocolate with white chocolate buttercream roses*.

Purple & Yellow Baby Shower Cupcakes

Raspberry & white chocolate mini cupcakes were ordered for a baby shower. The customer requested a purple and yellow theme as they don't know if the bub will be a boy or girl (so there could be no pink or blue!), and had baby bottles and bibs as decorations on the cupcakes.

Safari Critter Cakes

Elephants, monkeys, lions and zebras make up this themed set of safari/jungle critters. These cupcakes are vanilla rainbow cake with vanilla buttercream - a good all-round favourite with the kids!

Black, White & Silver Cupcakes

Four flavours of large cupcake were ordered for an elegant black, white and silver themed 21st birthday party. From left to right: choc-mint, cookies & cream, raspberry & white chocolate and lemon meringue all decorated to fit in with the party colour scheme. A choc-mint cutting cake was also decorated to match.

Introducing our newest flavour...

It has been a while since a new flavour was added to the menu, but after the thumbs up from taste testers, white chocolate is now available to order and will feature periodically in our market flavours. Our chocolate cupcake's blonde version, this cupcake couples white chocolate mudcake with white chocolate buttercream... perfect for all my fellow white chocoholics out there!

Blue & Silver 21st Cupcakes

Some mini chocolate cupcakes made for a blue and silver themed 21st birthday celebration. Half had chocolate buttercream and blue and silver hearts, the others were frosted with blue vanilla buttercream and handmade silver 21s.

80th Birthday Cupcakes

These cupcakes were made for an 80th birthday party. Chocolate cakes and raspberry & white chocolate cakes decorated with masculine designs (there were to be no flowers in sight!) in a rust red and steel blue colour scheme.

Princess Cupcakes

Some sweet minis for a fairytale princess-themed party done in simple vanilla buttercake with vanilla buttercream and decorated with hand-piped tiaras and rosebuds.

Brisbane Broncos Cupcakes

These cakes for a Brisbane Broncos fan's birthday were cookies and cream cupcakes with vanilla buttercream grass, hand-piped bronco jerseys and chocolate truffle footballs.

Its a Boy! Baby Shower

These cupcakes were ordered for a baby shower. The cupcakes with love-hearts were cookies & cream, and the ones with the cute baby teddies were choc-mint. Only the love-heart design from the samples was kept for the actual shower order. 

Orders Unavailable July 9th - 17th

Just a quick note to let everyone know that cupcakes will not be able to be ordered for between the 9th and 17th of July inclusive, as I will be away on holidays. Thanks to the two very understanding ladies who wanted to place orders for this week, who I had to turn away. Again I apologise for not being able to make cupcakes for your occasions, it really is a horrible feeling being unable to fulfil customers' wishes.

High Tea Cupcakes

Mini cupcakes ordered for a girl's high tea birthday celebration. A selection of flavours that coincided with flavours being made for the Cabarlah Markets on the same weekend as the order: vanilla buttercake with purple vanilla buttercream and fondant flowers, chocolate buttercake with chocolate buttercream and chocolate hearts, and white chocolate and raspberry cake with white chocolate ganache and hand-piped rose buds. The cutting cake was also raspberry and white chocolate with hand-piped buttercream roses.
