Pink, Brown & White Engagement Dessert Buffet Table

While I usually don't post photos of my dessert buffets on this blog, this one I am particularly proud of so thought I would share some pictures! This pink, brown and white themed dessert buffet (sometimes known as a dessert table, lolly buffet, lolly bar, candy table, or candy buffet!)

was for an engagement party held at Burke & Wills' Warrego Room.

The line-up included: homemade raspberry marshmallows, meringues, pecan fudge brownies, choc-vanilla cupcakes (with pale pink scroll heart decorations), peanut butter choc haystacks, a vanilla rosette cutting cake, musk mini cupcakes (with tiny heart toppers), choc-chip m&m cookies, vanilla bean sugar cookies (interlocked heart shapes with embossed fondant covering), choc-mint fudge and white choc coconut truffles. A selection of lollies including pink piglets, musks, clinkers, strawberry shakes, sour cola bottles, and marshmallows finished off the sweet display.

Dessert tables are ideal sweet finishes to any event and can serve not only as dessert for guests, but also as take-home bonbonniere with noodle boxes or bags provided to be filled with lollies. Prices for dessert buffets are upon application. Please allow at least one month's notice when booking.

Critter Birthday Cakes

A mixture of large-size choc-vanilla critter cakes for a 3rd birthday celebration. The animals included frogs, lions, elephants, dogs and pigs.

Birdie Baby Shower Cupcakes

Baby shower cupcakes decorated in forest green, chocolate brown and little birds to match the party invitations. The cupcakes were chocolate with vanilla buttercream.

Christmas Cupcake Selection 2009

A selection of Christmas cupcakes ordered for Christmas parties and as gifts, all decorated in the colour palette chosen for this Christmas of aqua, brown and silver. The flavours included raspberry & white chocolate (with silver/aqua holly and silver edible glitter), gingerbread (with aqua vanilla buttercream and handmade gingerbread boy decorations), white rocky road (drizzled with aqua and brown), caramel mud (with aqua Christmas tree cutout and silver glitter) and chocolate (with silver lustred presents). Monogrammed Heart Wedding Cupcakes

These large vanilla and chocolate cupcakes were ordered for a wedding with a brown and white colour scheme. They were decorated with a piped chocolate swirl in contrasting colour and two monogrammed hearts embossed with the couples' initials, J & K.

Brown & White Engagement Cupcakes

These large cupcakes were ordered for an engagement party with a brown and white theme. The cupcakes were vanilla (double hearts), chocolate (couple's initials on a chocolate disc), choc-vanilla (white hearts) and raspberry & white chocolate (couple's initials). All decorations were hand-made and hand-piped from fondant and chocolate.

Couple's Wedding Symbol Cupcakes

Caramel mud cupcakes for a wedding with a cream, brown and dusty green colour scheme, with the disc on top of the cupcakes incorporating the couple's wedding symbol made up of the bride and groom's initials. Half of the cupcakes had milk chocolate ganache and vanilla buttercream, the other half white chocolate ganache and chocolate buttercream. The cutting cake was a vanilla buttercake with vanilla buttercream.

80th Birthday Cupcakes

These cupcakes were made for an 80th birthday party. Chocolate cakes and raspberry & white chocolate cakes decorated with masculine designs (there were to be no flowers in sight!) in a rust red and steel blue colour scheme.
