Cupcakery Opening Date!

The Perfect Dozen Cupcakery will open for business on Thursday 20th May! Our display case will be stocked with lots of our delicious baked-from-scratch cupcakes in both regular and mini size, so come into our little store at 86 Russell St (opposite Betros Bros) between 8:30am and 5:00pm for your sugary sweet cupcake fix!

Cupcakery Update!

Our cupcakery is ever-so-close to opening for business! After months of renovating an old building to be fitted out with a kitchen for on-site cupcake baking and to transform it to a petite bakery, opening date is near. There are still the last inspections to pass and final preparations to be completed before we can fire up the ovens but when we are officially open it will be announced right here on our website, hopefully within the next couple of weeks (and of course our Grand Opening will follow not long after!). For those wondering of the cupcakery's location, we are at 86 Russell Street - opposite Betros Brothers and nextdoor to Tall Poppy's Furniture. The photo at right is a sneak peak of the decor of the cupcakery to keep you all going until we open!

Lollipop Flower Cupcakes

These cupcakes were requested by a customer for a 'mad hatter's tea party' themed birthday party. The chocolate cupcakes were swirled with chocolate 'dirt' buttercream frosting, and topped with a leaf and a lollipop 'flower' for the birthday celebrations.

Royal Blue & White Wedding Cupcakes

A selection of cupcakes for a wedding with a royal blue colour scheme. The flavours included cookies & cream (frilly frosting swirl with butterfly decoration), raspberry & white chocolate (embossed fondant and double blossoms), caramel mud (white fondant and blue cutout heart), orange poppyseed (ivory buttercream swirl with linked hearts), and white chocolate (with scroll border).

Frog & Ladybug Critter Cakes

Critter cakes for a 4th birthday celebration included a chocolate frog cutting cake torted and covered in vanilla buttercream, and chocolate ladybug cupcakes with vanilla buttercream icing.

Monogrammed Disc Wedding Cupcakes

Wedding cupcakes for a royal blue and silver themed wedding. Flavours included choc-vanilla cupcakes (with silver lustred discs embossed with the groom's initial), raspberry & white chocolate cupcakes (with blue discs embossed with the bride's initial), and a chocolate cutting cake torted and covered in vanilla buttercream. All cupcakes and the cutting cake were dotted with silver cachous for extra sparkle, and the cutting cake was to be finished with fresh flowers on top.

Ladies' Day Fundraiser Cupcakes

A variety of large cupcakes were made for the Toowoomba Bears Ladies' Day Fundraiser to be sold to raise money for both the rugby club and the Toowoomba Breast Screening Clinic. The flavours included vanilla (yellow), chocolate (pink) and caramel mud (blue), all with embossed fondant over buttercream.
