The cupcakes were all vanilla flavoured, and were decorated with either ivory embossed fondant* and a blossom, ivory smooth fondant* with a polka dot border, or a buttercream swirl with handmade bows* (which varied slightly from the original wedding design which utilised flat fondant).These mini-size cupcakes and ripple-iced cutting cake were ordered for little boy's 2nd birthday. The cupcakes were vanilla decorated with aqua frosting and orange handpiped letters to spell out a birthday message, and the cutting cake was raspberry & white chocolate with orange and aqua car motifs and a 2 on top.
This cupcake tower was ordered for the 40th birthday of a milliner (hat-maker). The strawberry mud mini cupcakes were topped with hand-cut mini hats adorned with bows, pearls, flowers and glitter, and the ripple-iced cookies & cream cutting cake was topped with "21 (+228 months)", hats and a purple piped top and bottom border.
cream cupcakes (with a tall buttercream swirl, silver edible pearls and a red blossom) and a chocolate fondant-covered cutting cake (which was left blank for the addition of a customer-sourced sugar flowers).This vanilla cutting cake was ordered for a birthday celebration. The customer wanted an abstract artistic cake design, inspired by the print on her party invitations (shown under cake photo) but with no flower shapes. The result was a smooth-iced finish with a series of cutout teardrops, spots, ferns and splash shapes in the colours of hot pink, bright orange and chocolate brown, and a piped shell top and bottom border. The top of the cake was left blank for the addition of a topper by the customer.
